What is the difference between Money and Activity points?

Money Points:

A way of setting a goal for fundraising for each child and they also allow us to measure if members are
achieving their goal. Not being able to fundraise for the band, orchestra and guard would not allow us to fund
the following:

1.        Salaries for staff (excluding Mrs. Cole and Directors)
2.        Marching Drills
3.        Music for shows, writing and arranging
4.        Water for bands (ours and visiting team at games) as well as the Home Show
5.        Cleaning and repair of uniforms
6.        Parties for the kids
7.        Food at band camp, games, etc.
8.        Banquet
9.        Fundraising licenses (Bingo, Small Games, etc.)
10.      Equipment and materials for Guard activities
11.      Home Show judges
12.      Home Show Trophies
13.      Dues to organizations
14.      Additional miscellaneous expenses

We need your help to raise money so we can keep our program alive. It is the responsibility of all band,
orchestra and guard students and parents to be involved.

Sample ways to earn money points:
Selling program ads
